When do you ship fig trees?
We ship fig trees seasonally to ensure they arrive healthy and ready to thrive. Shipping typically begins in early spring once weather conditions are safe for transit and may continue through the beginning of summer depending on inventory and temperatures.
Because fig trees are live plants, exact ship dates can vary based on:
- Weather conditions along the shipping route
- Plant readiness and rooting stage
- Regional agricultural restrictions
If you place a preorder, your tree will ship as soon as it is ready and conditions are appropriate.
How long does shipping take?
Once your order ships, delivery typically takes:
- 2–5 business days for most U.S. locations
You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.
We carefully package all fig trees to minimize stress during transit, but we recommend bringing your package inside as soon as possible after delivery. Please keep a close eye on tracking as most issues are from packages sitting outside in the sun after delivery.
What should I expect when my fig tree arrives?
Your fig tree may look slightly different than photos due to seasonal changes. Upon arrival, you may notice:
- Minor leaf drop or yellowing (normal from shipping stress)
- Soil shifting within the pot
- Dormant or semi-dormant condition depending on time of year
These are normal and your tree should recover quickly with proper care.
We recommend:
- Watering lightly if soil is dry
- Placing the tree in a shaded area for a few days before full sun
- Avoiding immediate repotting unless necessary
- Do not transplant directly into the ground immediately after receiving. It needs a few days to a week to recover.
Do you ship year-round?
No. To protect plant health, we do not ship during extreme heat or cold. Orders may be delayed if weather conditions are unsafe.
Where do you ship?
We ship to most U.S. states. However, due to agricultural regulations, we currently do NOT ship to:
- California
- Texas
- Arizona
- Hawaii
- Alaska
- Puerto Rico
Orders with shipping locations to these locations are not accepted and are blocked before placing the order.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be canceled before they are shipped. Once your order has been processed for shipment or shipped, cancellations are no longer possible.
To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible with your order details and we’d be happy to help.
What is your refund policy?
We stand behind the quality of our trees. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and a description of the problem.
Refunds or replacements are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

What if my tree arrives damaged?
If your tree arrives significantly damaged:
- Take clear photos of the packaging and plant
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery

Do you guarantee live arrival?
Yes, we offer a live arrival guarantee provided that:
- You contact us within 24 hours of delivery
- You provide photo evidence of the issue
Delays in reporting may void eligibility for replacement or refund.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information so you can monitor delivery.
What happens if my package is delayed?
Shipping carriers may occasionally experience delays. While most delays do not harm the plant, extended delays should be reported to us.
We recommend opening and caring for your tree immediately upon arrival, even if delayed.
How are fig trees packaged?
All trees are carefully packaged to protect roots, soil, and foliage during transit. We use bamboo or sticks to reduce plant movement in the box to minimize damage.
